This is an animated music video made for the song Stationary Robbery by the Toronto-based band, Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker (also known as USS). I chose to go with an 8-bit video game theme to keep the video light and playful and created a story where the main player was collecting all the items mentioned in the song as the lyrics came up - the animation had to be extremely well timed. I designed, illustrated and animated all of the objects, finally putting it all together in Flash; it took about three weeks to produce. This was done as a personal project, but after uploading it to Youtube to share, the band discovered it and called me about it expressing their appreciation. They later played it in the background at one of their concerts (below photo).
